Why does the app ask for folder access?

macOS controls which folders an app can write to. Choose or reselect the export folder in the app's destination control and approve the system prompt if you want to save there. Source folder exports may require permission for each source folder. If the location is unavailable or read-only, choose Downloads or another writable folder.

What if I declined permission to add photos?

Save to Photos requests permission to add new photos. If you want to enable it, review the app under System Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos, then try Save to Photos again. You can continue using file exports without granting this permission. A failed Photos save does not remove your already exported files.

Why does an iCloud photo need an internet connection?

The system may need to download an original that is stored only in iCloud. Allow the download to finish and select the photo again. For an unavailable file selected in Finder, make it available locally in Finder first. Applying the watermark happens on your Mac. Copies saved to Photos may sync according to your own Photos and iCloud settings.

Where are my exported files?

Check the destination shown beside Export: Downloads, Desktop, Source folder or Custom. File exports are placed in a Watermarked subfolder of that destination. Source folder is unavailable for Photos selections, including a batch that mixes Photos selections and files; choose another destination for those batches.

After exporting files, Save to Photos can add the successfully exported copies to your Photos library as a separate action.

Will my originals be changed?

The app exports new files without replacing the originals or existing exports. Saving to Photos creates new assets rather than editing the photos you selected.

What can I import?

For file imports, choose still JPEG or PNG images. The Photos picker also accepts supported still SDR HEIC/HEIF images and converts those working copies to PNG for processing. RAW, animated images and videos are not supported; HDR preservation is not supported.
